ATTRITIO

Terms of Service

Attritio is a free, non-commercial, fan-made battle-planning tool. By using it you agree to the terms below.

Last updated: July 26, 2026

1. What Attritio is

Attritio is a hobbyist tool that helps you plan Warhammer 40,000 battles by calculating combat outcomes (the dice math) from stats you select. It is offered free of charge for personal, non-commercial use. It is not sold, and it carries no advertising.

2. Not affiliated with Games Workshop

Warhammer 40,000 and all associated names, marks, and logos are trademarks of Games Workshop Limited. Attritio is an unofficial fan project. It is not affiliated with, licensed by, or endorsed by Games Workshop. Game data is drawn from openly-licensed community datasets, and no Games Workshop artwork or proprietary content is distributed. See our Credits & Data Sources page for details.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information (such as a valid email address) and are responsible for anything you save to the service. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

4. Acceptable use

Please don't misuse the service. In particular, do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for malicious ends, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data; do not upload unlawful content; and do not use Attritio for any commercial purpose. We may suspend or remove accounts that abuse the service.

5. No warranty

Attritio is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. Combat calculations are estimates for planning purposes and may not reflect official rulings or the current state of the game; they are not authoritative. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator of Attritio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Because Attritio is provided free of charge, your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using it.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
